2026 KidsMAT will feature Kid Frankenstein
KidsMAT summer camps are a unique performing arts experience for children ages 6-13. This year, we are partnering with the HELP Committee of the Boys and Girls Club of the Hi-line to bring a new outlook to our program which will use theatre and creative expression to help support substance misuse prevention. Youth will explore through the Boy & Girls Clubs of America evidence-based program Smart Moves, a targeted program designed to help young people develop healthy decision-making attitudes and skills, along with emotional identification, emotional regulation, and positive mental health. Grounded in Native American traditional values and led by Mark Cichosz of the Gros Ventre tribe and the Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Line, youth will also explore storytelling, performance, and creative collaboration, in a theatre environment complete with a performance! This approach will help youth build identity, confidence, self-worth, and the skills to manage emotions as well as theatre, and acting skills. And have some plain old fun!
Campers must bring a lunch Monday-Wednesday and should bring a water bottle. Snacks and access to water are provided.
Dinner provided on performance evenings.
Camp Schedule:
Monday-Wednesday 9am-2:30pm
Thursday 9am-12:30pm with a performance time TBD
