KidsMAT is a summer-time educational performing arts camp for children grades K-8 in which participants learn in an environment that encourages creative growth through theatre performance, management, and production. KidsMAT takes theatre camp to a new level by encouraging kids to take part in every aspect of the creative process. Through collaboration and guidance, the kids develop the story, create the costumes, build the set, and perform the play. Camps available in Havre, Chinook, Shelby, and Rocky Boy.

The Youth Production provides middle and high school-aged students the opportunity to participate in fully-staged productions.  Participants learn every aspect of theatrical production and develop the discipline to create a polished, professional show.

The 2023 Youth Production will be Almost, Maine!

For the past several summers, MAT has hired college students or recent college graduates as paid interns in our Young Professionals Program. These young adults manage and direct the KidsMAT touring children’s camps and the Youth Production. Interns gain valuable practical experience, professional development, and artistic opportunity. This year we are also hiring high school age assistants.

2023 Applications will open in the spring of 2023.
