Montana Actors’ Theatre is again bringing some risqué entertainment to Havre when Saturday it celebrates Valentine’s Day a few days late with its mid-winter Valentine’s Day Martini fundraiser, with added entertainment this year in the Mister Sisters from Great Falls joining Cigarette Girls burlesque from Missoula.

“This night is really designed to give people something different to do for Valentine’s Day, or just to attend in general,” said Jay Pyette, MAT’s artistic director. “Bringing these performers to Havre is MAT’s way of offering new entertainment to our community that we usually don’t get, and to support the performing arts groups of the entire state.”

The event starts at 6 p.m. in Harvest Moons Lanes in Havre.

Cigarette Girls are back for their fourth performance at the MAT event, Pyette said.

“They love coming here and have had a great reception each time,” he said.

The drag theater group Mister Sisters are expected to have the same kind of reception, he added.

“While this is the first time (they) will be performing in Havre, their reputation in Great Falls is stellar,” Pyette said. “ They’re fun and energetic.”

The night costs $60 for singles and $120 for couples and includes a dinner, martinis and the show.

“Dinner will be roasted stuffed chicken breast with all sorts of good sides and dessert,” Pyette said, adding that an open bar also is available but is not included in the ticket price.

Pyette said people should buy tickets early, as the event often sells out.

Tickets are available at Bear Paw Meats, The Computer Center and fivehead’s and also online at http://www.mtactors.com.

Pyette said many people work to get the show produced in Havre.

“Great thanks go out to Josh and Laura Gomez as Producers, Ty Hedalen as the show sponsor, Harvest Moon Lanes for hosting the event and the Quality Inn of Havre for housing the performers,” he said.
