Sweeney Todd

MAT ventures out of the theatre and to Fleet Street of London and Mrs. Lovett’s Pie Shop. Join us on this adventure – taking place in the Atrium Mall in downtown Havre! Directed by Dr. Grant Olson.

 

 


24 Hour Play Fest

One Night Only, November 17th 2018

In the span of 24 hours – MAT actors, writers and directors will create and stage a series of short plays – all with an underlying common thread. A random draw on Friday night creates teams that have until 8 pm Saturday night to write, rehearse and stage a show. As an audience member, you are invited to join us for the draw and then rejoin us the next night to see the results!

 

 


 

Peter Pan

Returning for a third year in a row, MAT will again present a Panto! Hilarious, cheesy fun all wrapped up in a well-known story – this time – Peter Pan! Fun for the entire family and great for the holiday season. Directed by Dr. Valerie Guyant.

 

 


The Glass Menagerie 

Opening Thursday, January 17th 2019

MAT veteran Pam Veis directs this winner of the New York Drama Critic’s Circle Award for Best American Play. The story of the Wingfield family – Amanda, Tom and Laura – this play is widely considered one of Tennessee Williams’ best. Running in rep with Death of a Salesman.

 

 


Death of a Salesman

Opening Thursday, January 20th 2019

MAT brings an American classic to the stage with Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman. Directed by MAT Artistic Director Jay Pyette, this play tells the story of Willy Loman and his perception of the American Dream. This haunting and beautiful script was the winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and a Tony Award, as well as many others. Running in rep with The Glass Menagerie.

 

 


Cabaret

Opening Friday, February 14th 2019

Taking place in the Kit Kat Club in 1929 Berlin, Cabaret is one of the world’s best known musicals. The story of Clifford Bradshaw, an American writer, and Sally Bowles, a vivacious, talented cabaret performer, and an utterly lost soul, Cabaret explores a world in which events are quickly spinning out of control and facism is on the rise. Directed by MAT veteran Rachel Dean.

 

 


The 39 Steps Dinner Theatre

Opening Friday, March 8th 2019

MAT’s travelling dinner theatre is back – with five seperate weekend performances in four different communities! Join us for a great dinner followed by the hilarious insanity of The 39 Steps. Reminiscent of Hitchcock, the four actors of this zany play must create a world of danger and mystery – at breakneck speed! Directed by MAT veteran Casey Pratt.

 

 


The Fantastic Mr. Fox

She Kills Monsters
